Fuzzy little, furry little, cute brown puppy
Waggy tail
Pink tongue
Follows me from room to room
Fuzzy little, furry little, cute brown puppy

Scratchy paws wake me
"Time to take me out!"
Early walks, rain or shine
Ears flapping as he trots
Fuzzy little, furry little, cute brown puppy

Soft curly fur
Big black nose
Kind, soulful eyes
Expressive tail
Fuzzy little, furry little, cute brown puppy

For a long time, I hated dogs.
Forever I thought I would never own a dog
Fuzzy little, furry little cute brown puppy
reminds me
that hearts can change-
For I love him so.

Joy, love, affection, laughter
More walking, more pictures
That is what Teddy has brought us
This fuzzy little, furry little, cute brown puppy.

It is so evident from your Teddy posts that this little dog has brought so much joy to your family (and it shines on A and M's faces too). It is amazing how animals can be such important family members. He will miss you when you are all back at school. Your repeating line of "This fuzzy little, furry little, cute brown puppy" was effective and made me smile too!

Those pictures!!! What an adorable little pup! Your poem captures the joy that this little creature's presence is bringing to you and your family! I, like you, NEVER thought I'd ever own a dog and three years ago, Maci, entered our lives and she is the sweetest being! As much work as she is, we can't imagine our lives without her! Here's to Teddy!

Awww, Teddy is a love! I can visualize all of what you describe in your poem and truly see your love for him. It was surprising that you never liked dogs because I could understand your love for Teddy through your words.

There. Is. So. Much. JOY within these lines, these pictures. I'm not sure how you've done it, but your simple language and use of repetition completely captures the essence of this amazing doggo. Just...beautiful.
