I hope I don't get pulled over this morning, I think to myself as I pull my curly hair into two pony tails. It's Music In Our Schools Month Spirit Week and today is Crazy Hair Day. My music teacher colleagues have made this month so much fun for everyone and have worked hard to put it all together for the kids. I want to support their efforts and participate, even though I really prefer my hair in, well, not pony tails?
I have a bunch of phone calls to parents today to discuss progress and the upcoming report card. Grateful today that these conversations will not be on Google Meet!

Ha ha, love it, especially your thought I hope I don’t get pulled over today! I think we should participate in these joyful, messy traditions. I once was in a grocery store early on my way to school to pick up something for a lesson, and realized I had on my red and white striped tights for Dr. Seuss’ birthday. Oh, well.

You look adorable! I have not really been a fan of crazy hair day and usually just wear a weird hat. You have given me ideas!

Love your pigtails, Kathleen! I've been known to sport them from time to time. Life always feel more joyful when I wear my hair in them.
